Rachel Reid, author of the book series that inspired “Heated Rivalry,” spoke about how her life has changed since the show’s debut and why she thinks the gay hockey romance has become such a sensation. She also previewed her third book in the “Game Changers” series, “Unrivaled,” which is due out in September and continues to follow hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.
